Fire clay refractories

What is Fire Clay in Monolithic Refractories? These are specially-built bricks that can take high temperatures without cracking. Refractory — a material that can withstand high heat without harm; (reaction will take place); hence they are very useful in many heavy industries where steel and glass making. The Datong refractory binder is refractory made of certain type Kaolinite which has heat resistant properties.

The Role of Fire Clay Refractories in High-Temperature Applications

It is like some of those ceratonia or refractory that you can shape when wet, but come to a more permanent stop in the same way as ceramics do after they have been fired and gotten hot. A key use of them is as thermal lining for blast furnaces, for instance. A blast furnace is a huge oven for melting iron ore, which comes from the earths crust to make steel. They have made available fire clay refractories that can withstand the high heat from within these furnaces as this in turn allows the furnace to reach those temperatures without simply melting down into slag. These are also used for lining ovens and kilns in ceramic production where beautiful clay pottery is made. Fire clay refractories by Datong are those which allow the industries to keep their processes at high temperatures and they will not be able to work without these refractory materials.
